Hey Guys!

I'm sorry it's another makeup post but I have been so busy with work lately that I haven't really had time to go out and take photos of outfits or actually go out and do anything so playing with makeup before work is mainly the only thing I'm doing right now! I promise I'll make more time for other things soon, I've got some really good outfit posts lined up it's just finding time to go out take photos!

So yesterday Prince Harry announced his engagement to Meghan Markle, which honestly I wasn't thrilled about because marrying Prince Harry was my life plan, that was what I wanted to be when I grew up so now I need a new life plan! On serious note though I think it's incredible news and love the fact even our royal family have recognised that we do live in 2017 and everyone being is accepted regardless of race, religion and sex! I think Meghan will an equally inspirational Princess as Kate and can't wait to see what she can bring to the royal family.

I thought it was fitting to do a cheeky wink to the engagement news and do a "copper" look on my eyes in tribute to Harry's hair I guess haha!

The products I used for this we're slightly more budget priced but are still some of my favourite products! The colours are bright and blend easily, what more could a girl want!?

I started by using more of the burnt/orange looking colours on the base of my eye from my W7 Delicious pallet to build up a blended slightly smokey looking eye making the surrounding part of my eye look soft and subtle so when I added the heavy copper colour the hole look wasn't too harsh. I wanted the copper to be the only dramatic part of this look. The pallet cost £12.95 and is available on the W7 website.

Right so this is one of my favourite eye shadows, ever! I love them and wish I could own every single one! Its a water eye shadow from Kiko and the colour is so intense its honestly so beautiful! All you have to do it add a tiny bit of water (like its a paintbrush I suppose) and the colour comes out brighter and shinier than using it without, although I have many times used it without water for a softer look but for this one I wanted a dramatic effect on my lid and the water helped create that! I added this colour to my lid to make an impact and the copper colour worked perfectly for my cheeky wink to Prince Harry because who doesn't love a bit off copper? Wink wink! The Kiko eye water eye shaddow costs £8.90 and is available online although I bought mine from the store in Meadowhall in Sheffield. I then finished the the look off with mascara and eyeliner.

For my lips I used NYX Lip Lingerie Matte colour Seduction. I really hate having to keep reapplying lipstick because of colour fade so I do prefer a matte lipstick so it last longer. I can also eat without out losing all of the colour so for me that's always a bonus haha! This lipstick is £6.00 and can be purchased from any boots which have a NYX stand or online.

This is the finished looked...

So that was my tribute to the royal engagement, how did you take the news? Did you celebrate or are you not interested in the royal family anymore? Let me know in the comments below! Also PLEASE click the heart below if you enjoyed this post it helps me know what you guys want to see more of.
