Hey Guys!
So I received my October Birchbox and after trying them all out for a couple of weeks I thought I'd share what I thought with you!
This month was all about raising awareness for breast cancer so it included little bit of information on how to check yourself properly and signs to look out for which I thought was really good because if I'm going to be completely honest I probably don't check as often as I should and I wouldn't really no any other signs to look out for other than just a lump so it defiantly gave me a proper insight into what actually can happen.
In the box contained Anatomicals Grab Your Melons Shower Gel in aid of breast cancer awareness, Model co. contour stick, an ecoTools Contour Perfecting Applicator, Balance Me Pure Skin Face Wash and a bottle of Number 4 Lumiere d'Hiver Super Comb Prep & Protect.

The Anatomicals Grab Your Melons Shower Gel is a thin gel which can last you longer than usual and smells amazing! It has a strong, gorgeous smell of watermelon which is absolutely yummy! The product isn't really meant to be the best shower gel on the market its more to raise awareness for breast cancer and with how great it smells who wouldn't want to drown yourself in it!? So go grab your melons girls and get to know your boobs! Its £1.99 from Birchbox.

I love contour, I love playing around with it just makes your makeup a little bit more fun but that could just be me. I like playing with different looks and using contour I suppose you can do that. So when I saw the Model co. contour stick I did get a little excited. The colour was the perfect match for my skin tone but I just got lucky with that because they don't offer a range of other shades so I think that could be a downfall. I did try out the ecoTools Contour Perfecting Applicator with it as it came in the same box and for me that didn't blend as well as I'd of liked and would defiantly stick to my bushes. For me it felt like the sponge wasn't secure and would fall off at any moment. Although it didn't I didn't want to risk it and was a lot more gentle with it than I'd like to be able to be so didn't get the desired effect. However with my own brushes the cream is easy to blend. The contour stick is £13 and the ecoTools Contour Perfecting Applicator is £5.99.

I've never really found a good face wash that hasn't left my skin feeling dry or irritated but the Balance Me Pure Skin Face Wash was a game changer! It left my skin feeling soft and hydrated so much so it's going to be my new go to face wash! Its a creamy like gel and has a subtle smell of grapefruit. My skin looked clearer too I would defiantly recommend this product. It costs £16.

Lastly I tried the Number 4 Lumiere d'Hiver Super Comb Prep & Protect spay. I have never tried something like this before so don't really have a lot to compare it to. I will say I was pleasantly surprised, I was expecting it to leave my hair feeling oily and like I wanted to wash it again but once it was dry I did notice my hair actually felt softer. I do put my hair through a lot of stress so maybe it is time for me to start using products like this to keep it in good condition so I may try others to compare and get back to you. This particular one is £26.25.
So that's it for now I have got anther box to review so keep your eyes peeled for that one coming up! Let me know if you prefer any other products similar to these in the comments below!
If you liked this post please give it some love with the heart at the bottom!
